Women Who Wanted To Model (& Those Who Actually Made It)

Many 90 Day Fiancé female cast members have aspirations of modeling. However, only the select few stars made it as actual working models.

The 90 Day Fiancé franchise might be focused on international romances, but numerous cast members have used the exposure to try and create modeling careers. The past eight years of franchise content has introduced audiences to dozens of couples, while also offering a front-hand view to cast members pursuing other ventures. Discover which female 90 Day Fiancé cast members voiced their desires to work as models and which franchise beauties were successful with their modeling careers.

While audiences consider the earlier seasons of 90 Day Fiancé to feature more authentic depictions of international romance, viewers are now skeptical of why cast members want to join the franchise. Many newer franchise cast members have been accused of joining the franchise for fame and exposure, as an increasing amount of cast members want to launch influencer careers after using their TLC spotlight to boost their social media followings. This inevitably leads to cast members pushing products such as diet teas, fast fashion, and beauty gear to their followers for extra cash.

Natalie Mordovtseva (flop)

Natalie Mordovtseva 90 Day The Single Life

Natalie Mordovtseva is known for eccentricity, as evidenced across multiple spin-off shows. Natalie made her ego and confidence known to her now-estranged husband Mike Youngquist, as she often voiced that she thought she was far too good-looking for the American man. While Natalie did appear on several Ukrainian TV shows in her home country, her desire to be a model in the United States has been a total flop. Natalie revealed on 90 Day: The Single Life that she has always wanted to be a model. She blamed Mike for holding her back, though many viewers were unimpressed with her excuse. Though Natalie was determined to be a working model, many viewers thought that she had an inflated sense of self and was attempting to start her modeling career rather late.

Juliana Custodio (hit)

Juliana Michael Breakup Divorce In 90 Day Fiance

Juliana Custodio, on the other hand, has been a working model since she was very young. Online rumors point to Juliana having to work as a model since she was a child to support her family. However, the Brazilian beauty appears to greatly enjoy modeling as an adult. The model met her now ex-husband Michael Jessen at a yacht party. Though having to support Michael and his family appeared to have depleted Juliana’s spirits, she has since bounced back after meeting her fiancé Ben Obscura and getting pregnant. Juliana remains represented by several modeling agencies, including Time Model, Model Management, Women Management Milano, and Women Management New York. Juliana enjoys high fashion editorial pieces, glam modeling, and has even appeared in a music video.

Paola Mayfield (flop)

Paola Mayfield 90 Day Fiance

Paola Mayfield was eager to embrace life in the US when the Colombian bombshell married American Russ Mayfield during 90 Day Fiancé season 1. Paola quickly expressed her desires to be a model, though conservative Russ was strongly opposed to her donning the sometimes risqué clothing that modeling calls for. Paola moved to Miami and gave modeling a shot, though she never made it as a known model. However, Paola has found success in other ways. In addition to trying her hand at wrestling, Paola is a trainer and fitness coach. Though she didn’t make it in modeling, Paola appears to be happy with her successful fitness career.

Anfisa is a Bombshell Sportswear athlete and has her Instagram filled with modeling shots for athletic wear. The certified personal trainer makes her own workouts and is thriving in the world of fitness. Anfisa, who has been open about her plastic surgery journey, is a polarizing 90 Day Fiancé cast member. However, many viewers are impressed by the career she has made for herself and consider her a successful fitness model.

Larissa Lima (flop)

Like Paola and Anfisa, Brazilian firecracker Larissa Lima had big plans when she moved to the United States. The ex-wife of Colt Johnson was notoriously fired by TLC when she broke her contract by accepting money to appear in an online lingerie show. Though Larissa is highly successful on adult content sites such as OnlyFans, it doesn’t appear that her modeling career ever took off. Larissa enjoys curating her own home photoshoots and taking images of herself, though she does not appear to have made it as a working model. However, Larissa has profited enormously off of her appearance and has made a massive income thanks to her online presence.
