UNF in Jacksonville launches new program for women business students

When Mary Joy DiMarco arrived at the College of North Florida, she majored in personal computer science. But as a female in male-dominated classes, she didn’t come to feel her thoughts had been valued.

“I was incredibly not comfortable,” she mentioned.

DiMarco later switched to small business management and joined a new UNF college student organization called Women of all ages in Small business designed to empower feminine organization pupils by supplying mentorship, local community connections and profession advancement prospects, amongst other factors.
